Before our expansion, House of India only had 55 seats. It sometimes got so crowded that we encouraged our patrons to carry out instead of waiting for a table. To compensate our customers for their trouble, we offered a 10% discount on carry out orders over $50. Even though we have over 100 seats today, we still offer that 10% discount.

Carry out is available for all items on our menu and orders always come in microwavable containers.

Are you having a meeting or event with 20 or more people? House of India now offers boxed lunches Monday through Friday. For only $9 per box (with free delivery), each lunch contains one chicken dish, one vegetable dish, two pieces of chicken tandoori, a half naan, rice, and two potato fritters.

THE TANDOOR is a traditional Indian style Clay Oven shaped like a huge jar. The inside is lined with smooth clay & the outside is heavily insulated for the purpose of making breads. The pit itself is used for roasting meat. Tandoor is fired by charcoal, heating in sides to 180 degrees, creating a sealed heat. Breads, seafood & meats cooked in tandoor retain their natural juices & flavors. All fat & skin is carefully removed from meat and poultry prior to cooking.
